Antigas pesquisas, novas descobertas: a releitura do espaço ornado do sítio rupestre cosmezinho no sertão alagoano

Resumo

A ferramenta de aprimoramento de imagens DStretch® auxilia nas leituras de pinturas rupestres que apresentam baixo grau de conservação ou pouca visibilidade, facilitando a leitura de conjuntos parietais e ajudando na compreensão da cronologia de construção dos espaços ornados. Trabalhando sobre imagens fotográficas, a ferramenta possibilita a releitura de sítios já pesquisados, abrindo importante perspectiva na pesquisa em sítios rupestres. Este texto aborda os resultados da releitura do painel 5 do sítio rupestre Cosmezinho a partir da aplicação do DStretch® sobre os dados obtidos em 2009 . Essa nova leitura gerou elementos importantes para se discutir sobre a aplicação metodológica dessa ferramenta e o refinamento das leituras realizadas em relação à organização gráfica do painel estudado.
