Inês Soares, Federal Judge with a PhD in Law, and Pedro Paulo Funari, PhD in Archaeology and Full Professor at UNICAMP, brought together their specialties in Arqueologia e Direitos Humanos, uma introdução, published by Appris, in 2019. The title already announces the premise that governs the organization of the book, offering a general introduction to the relationship between Archaeology and Human Rights. To this end, the three chapters of the work approach, using a historical perspective, the main themes and problems of this interface, in addition to listing a series of relevant information, dates, documents and reading indications for the reader’s deepening.
