Abstract

In this paper I present an auto-ethnography of the pandemic, focused on its repercussions on my research and daily work as a woman, mother, daughter and archaeologist. If we conceive auto-ethnography as an attempt to learn about social, cultural and/or political processes through personal exploration, this introspection can contribute to the understanding of the health crisis and the daily production of archeology. To build this story I relied on the autobiographical method, using personal diaries and work notes, as well as some publication.
