Abstract

In 2020, the Laboratório de Ensino e Pesquisa em Antropologia e Arqueologia/LEPAARQ, at the Universidade Federal de Pelotas, is reaching exactly twenty years of existence. Our objective in this work is to bring a brief history of this consolidation process, over the last few years, from the technical perspective that we have adopted for the management of archaeological collections in this institution. By sharing with the academic community and general public some of the difficulties and successes we have achieved so far, we are looking forward to making explicit some of these processes, in order to strengthen the research network in the management of archaeological collections, based on our report and sharing of experiences.
