Este artículo presenta reflexiones y ejemplos de paisajes arqueológicos de guerras y otros conflictos bélicos en su intersección con el campo denominado “arqueología del conflicto”. Desde importantes investigaciones y publicaciones sobre el tema y relatos de las experiencias del autor, se constituye un debate introductorio sobre las especificidades y potencialidades de este prometedor campo, cuya ciencia arqueológica se suma a los estudios de otras áreas, aportando información sobre los conflictos del pasado desde la prehistoria hasta la actualidad.
